Hello and welcome! I am an second-year MS student in the Quantitative Methods program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), advised by Prof. Xia. I expect to graduate in Summer 2026 and am currently applying to Ph.D. programs in Quantitative Psychology for Fall 2026.
My research lies at the intersection of complex data structures and advanced statistical modeling, with three primary areas of focus:
- Factor analysis for complex models and data.
- Using modern statistical learning (e.g., regularization, machine learning) and Bayesian approaches to address challenges in behavioral and psychological research.
- Development of statistical methods for several difficult data types, including longitudinal, high-dimensional, text, nonnormal, and missing data, in structural equation modeling and item response theory.
