Hello and welcome! I am a second-year M.S. student in the Quantitative Methods (QUERIES) program at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign (UIUC), where I work under the supervision of Prof. Yan Xia. I expect to graduate in Spring 2026 and will begin my Ph.D. in Quantitative methods at UIUC in Fall 2026.

My current research interests include:

  1. Factor analysis, especially methods for evaluating dimensionality and measurement structures in behavioral data.
  2. Machine learning based methodological development in behavioral research, with a focus on developing and evaluating new methods to address real world measurement and modeling challenges.
  3. Applied statistical modeling and collaboration, including working with scholars to analyze complex data and answer challenging research questions in applied settings.
